1. Padel cage & lighting around your padel turf
The right choice of a padel cage and its lighting depends on the location and climate you want to install it, and the purpose of its use. It is important that your cage matches the playing features of your padel artificial grass and offers optimal safety for your players. 2. Sub-base of the padel court
The substructure of a padel court consists of several layers, including a soil or asphalt base. A solid surface is required to ensure that the court is stable and does not sink over time. When constructing a padel field, there are several options for the substructure. We can advise you on the most suitable surface for your padel court. Our preference goes to a ring foundation under the padel cage and bonded foam concrete under the padel playing surface. We take into account the regulations in your region regarding sub-bases.

The padel court construction is carried out by professional Belgian and international teams under the supervision of a Domo® Sports Grass construction foreman who is responsible for the result. This way, we can guarantee a perfect and correctly installed padel court. What steps do we follow during a padel field installation:
- Preparation of the site: Sand substructure & drainage system
- Construction subbase and foundation
- Installation of the padel cage, glass and lighting
- Installation of padel artificial grass
When renovating a tennis court, we assume that the surface and foundation are still in good condition. We then start the construction from step 3.
Support for maintaining your padel court
Domo® Sports Grass offers you the right support to manage the padel court maintenance. There are three options to choose from of how we can provide maintenance at your site:

How much does it cost to build a padel court?
The cost of building a padel court varies depending on your choices and requirements. It differs according to the choices regarding the cage type, lighting, sub-base and artificial grass. What are the padel court dimensions?
The size of padel courts are typically 20 metres long and 10 metres wide. The height of a padel field depends on whether it is an indoor or outdoor court. An indoor padel court should take the ceiling height into account.
The runout of a padelcourt is 2m x 8m on each side.
How to reduce padel noise?
The neighbourhood around a padel club often complain about noise pollution when padel is played. The cause is partly due to the ball bouncing against the cage and on the padel surface. What do we do to reduce this? The padel cages PadelGrass Classic and PadelGrass Vision have slightly thicker glass than average, guaranteeing better sound insulation. We can limit sound insulation of the substrate by using foam concrete as a foundation. The structure of the foam concrete ensures better sound insulation when the ball hits the ground.
