Frequently asked questions
Why is Domo® Optimum Dry better than existing dry hockey pitches?
Compared to traditional dry hockey pitches, which feel rough and increase injury risk, Domo® Optimum Dry offers a better option. Its composition allows hockey players to perform techniques as on water-based pitches. The round, textured fibres create a smooth surface. This ensures fast ball behavior and reduces the risk of injury.
How much water does it take to water a wet hockey field?
It takes about six to eight thousand liters of water to maintain a wet hockey pitch during a match. By switching to Domo® Optimum Dry, this same amount of water is saved, making it a more sustainable option.
Does Domo® Optimum Dry hockey grass get slippery when it rains?
No, Domo® Optimum Dry always offers a nice balance between grip and slide. It's perfectly playable in wet conditions.
